The Details
A piece that changes shape depending on how you wear it. Slate Forest is a convertible hat in slate gray chenille — by tightening the braided cord it closes into a beanie, and by loosening it, it opens into a cowl/snood.
Two bright green lurex pom-poms and a cluster of three metallic green beads add just the right amount of sparkle to the velvety texture of the chenille: a "jewel on velvet" effect. The cord is made of the same braided chenille yarn, finished with two large gray pom-poms that add weight and presence to the closure.
